2013

So, looks like my last post was March 19... good thing I've been better about writing in my journal this year so I can actually look back and reflect on all that has happened!

2013 has been a great year.  Some of the highlights:

-I jumped from having 8 students in January to 28 students by the year's end
-I worked in the Provo temple
-Mike and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary
-I started learning to play the bass and
-I volunteered at a center for abused children

But the BEST part is that a few weeks after I wrote that post in March, life in the Curtis home was about to change in a big way.  Although I didn't realize it until 6 weeks in, our little baby girl was beginning her journey that is now almost at its end.  What a wonderful 9 months it has been!  Baby girl, I have LOVED watching and feeling you grow inside me.  From my positive pregnancy test to our 12 wk ultrasound where you looked like a little bean and we saw you fist pump, to now when you move so much that my dad had to put family scripture reading on pause because we were all distracted watching my stomach ripple and shift, we have loved you.  What an incredible concept that thanks to a loving Heavenly Father Mike and I have the opportunity to be your parents!  I love you so much and I can't believe that any day now (or at least within a few short weeks) you will be in my arms.  2014 is going to be such an adventure and I'm glad you're going to be part of it!  See you soon cute girl :)
