Oh yeah, I have a blog...
So I decided I should start this blogging thingy. Again. I'm afraid I've abandoned my blog for awhile. I like the concept of blogging, I'm just not very regular about it (obviously). So here are some pics to show you what we've been up to in the Curtis home for the past little while.
Lets start with April shall we? (remember I said its been a while? ha). My awesome friend Christina had a birthday and to celebrate her birth, we sent off floating lanterns into the sky which I've always wanted to do! (would've had them at my wedding if I could've). It was nice and peaceful until they started sinking onto neighboring houses roofs and we had to retrieve them...
This is how I roll
In May I did an interview + 45 min. of playing on Classical 89 (hence the practicing pic above). It was a wonderful experience and I'm grateful I had it! (Thank you Uncle Eric for suggesting me).
This is what Mike does. Yay for people like him who understand this! (sorry its sideways)
This, my friends, is a currito. Yes, you read that right. Its like a burrito, but instead of a tortilla filled with shredded pork, its garlic naan bread filled with delicioso curry and basmati rice. Oh baby. This is from a new local restaurant called Curryosity (worthy of my father's punniness for sure) and it has now provided us with two very happy date nights. Try it out!
Mike and I often end up watching netflix and vegging for date night so we decided to have an epic date night. We went to the BYU rugby final at Rio Tinto (see above) and it was a great game! (BYU won :) ). I hadn't seen a live rugby match since I've moved back from London so it was good times. We also randomly decided to see Avengers at the IMAX after the game. Was a great idea, or so we thought, until we had to get up for 8.30 church the next morning. Yay for curly hair and pretending I actually got ready in the morning when I really just rolled out of bed.
Well, thats all for now. Phew! More to come later. Thanks for stopping by! :)
